Welcome to my website! I am a writer and editor, who hails from the multicultural neighbourhood of Scarborough, Canada.

Over the years, I have written for numerous publications and organizations, mostly in a professional communications capacity and as a freelance journalist. In my writing, I enjoy exploring the grey area between what’s real and imagined. I am interested in the perspectives of those who view the world through a lens that diverges from the norm – individuals and communities who have or are experiencing trauma or live with mental illness. I am also interested in social justice.

I graduated with an honours bachelor of arts degree from the University of Toronto back in 2002 and I later earned an editing certificate from George Brown College. I am currently finishing the creative writing certificate program at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, pumping iron, and reading up on history and the news.
